Question: from Caesar
How do I best balance out my health needs without compromising my religious beliefs which calls on me from time to time to go without food and or drink (fast).
Answer: from Warren
Hi Caesar,
I am assuming that you are Muslim and are referring to Ramadan when you are unable to eat or drink between sunrise and sunset. I agree it makes it difficult if you are in a western country and working a normal job.
If you are I would suggest that you simply ensure that you have a good-sized breakfast before sunrise and plenty of water. Then after sundown, have a light meal so you will not be hungry in the morning and can have a good breakfast to help sustain you through the day.
It is not ideal but should not have much effect on your overall health.
